Careers

Come build the thing nobody built for her.

We’re a small team in Houston building an app for mothers. We aren’t hiring for a specific role today, and we would still like to meet you.

What it’s like here

You’ll feel the work land

Every feature either takes something off a mother’s list or it doesn’t ship. You will hear from the mothers who use what you built, usually within the week.

Small enough that your call is the call

If you spot something broken you can fix it that afternoon. Nobody has to take it to a committee first.

Hard problems, real constraints

Knowing a family well enough to be useful, without knowing more than you should, is hard to get right. Doing it responsibly is harder.

Built by people who mean it

Most of this team is raising children while building this. Unlimited PTO and flexible hours are written policy, not a thing we say and then make you feel bad for using.

Parental leave

Six months, not six weeks.

In Authority Magazine, Kayla was asked what movement she would start if she could. She said longer, more realistic maternity leave, because six weeks doesn’t reflect the physical recovery, the mental adjustment, or the reality of early motherhood.

It’s written policy here. Six months of paid maternity leave, and unlimited PTO on top of it. A company building for mothers that treats its own like everyone else would be worth exactly nothing.

Open roles right now

None right now, and we’d rather say that than post a role we haven’t funded yet.

That said, the people we’ve hired mostly reached out before there was a job. If you’re one of them, tell us what you’d want to work on and why it’s this, rather than any other app.

What happens to what you send

It goes to a person, not a queue. If there’s nothing now we’ll say so rather than leaving you wondering, and we’ll keep it for when there is something.

No cover letter. We’d rather read what you’ve made and the part of this you can’t stop thinking about.

Introduce yourself

Everything marked required actually is. The rest helps, and leaving it blank won’t count against you.

We use this only to reply. It isn’t added to any marketing list.

Life at Momeaze

Conferences, pop-ups, a booth we build ourselves, and a lot of hauling our own boxes. Most of us have never worked anywhere that let us bring this much of ourselves to work, and you can see it in the photos.

  • The Momeaze team in lavender tees, crowded into a selfie in front of the giant Momeaze booth sign at a conference
  • Four of the team behind the Momeaze IRL pop-up table, in hot pink tees, with a wall of Default Parent Energy koozies behind them
  • Two of the team spotting a third doing a handstand on the sidewalk outside a restaurant
  • A hotel luggage cart stacked with Momeaze boxes, a pink Momeaze backpack and a display shelf, being wheeled in for an event
  • A teammate at the pop-up with both arms full of drinks, handing them out
  • Kayla Kugler on the floor of the Mom 2.0 Summit in Austin
  • Kayla Kugler at a pink payphone installation banked with flowers at Mom 2.0
  • Four of the team arm in arm at a conference booth
  • Three of the team leaning into a selfie at a patio table
  • Two of the team working the Momeaze pop-up tent, talking to a visitor
  • A pink Momeaze backpack, worn walking down the street on a work trip
  • Kayla Kugler and Megan Vizzari, the sisters who founded Momeaze, at a team offsite

What the team say

“Working for Momeaze has been really special to me. I get to stay home with my two toddlers, do work I genuinely love, and be part of building something that I believe will help moms in a real way.”

Paige Meza

Content & Social Media Manager

“Being part of Momeaze is so special because the heart behind it is truly about helping moms. Everyone on this team believes in creating something that makes motherhood feel more supported, understood, and manageable. We believe in each other, encourage each other’s creativity, and share a genuine passion for what we’re building.”

Alexis Burkeen

Community Partnerships & Events Manager

“Being able to be a part of bringing Momeaze to life has been a dream. I never imagined I’d not only be able to support my family by doing what I love, but doing it with some of the people I love most. Everyone who has worked on Momeaze truly believes in our mission to help moms.”
