Service Limitations & Medical Disclaimer
What Momeaze is, and more importantly what it is not.
Last updated May 15, 2026
Important: This is a user-facing disclaimer for Momeaze, LLC's consumer app and related materials. It explains what Momeaze is and — more importantly — what Momeaze is not. It does not replace the Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy.
Purpose
Momeaze is a consumer family-life organization and productivity application for adults. It is designed to help you plan, organize, and coordinate the practical work of running a household — calendars, tasks, routines, family-member profiles, photos, and AI-assisted reminders and summaries.
Momeaze is not a wellness program, not a medical service, not a mental-health service, and not an emergency service. Because some features may touch topics that are sometimes adjacent to those areas (for example, a user choosing to note how they're feeling, or asking the assistant a question that wanders into personal-health territory), this page makes the boundary explicit.
Not Medical Care; Not an Emergency Service
The Services are for personal organization, productivity, and general informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or emergency services.
Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional with any questions about a medical or mental-health condition. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or generated in Momeaze.
If you believe you or someone else is in danger or experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, call 911 (United States) or your local emergency number, or use a crisis service such as 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) when appropriate.
Not a Medical Device; No Clinical Claims
Momeaze is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Momeaze does not make clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or treatment claims, and does not offer "therapy," "counseling," or any other regulated professional service.
AI Features and Personas
If you use AI-powered features — including Mayla, our AI assistant — those features are software outputs, not real people. AI output may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, biased, fabricated (hallucinated), or inappropriate, even when it sounds confident or authoritative.
- AI features are not a licensed clinician, therapist, lactation consultant, pediatrician, social worker, attorney, or other regulated professional, and we do not verify credentials for AI behavior. Any role, title, or honorific in a persona's name is illustrative only.
- Your use of AI features does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, or any other professional or confidential relationship with Momeaze, our personnel, or any AI persona.
- AI features have limited or no memory of past conversations and may give different or contradictory answers at different times.
- AI features cannot call 911, contact emergency services, or otherwise respond to an emergency.
Do not rely on AI outputs for medical, mental-health, medication, nutrition, lactation, child-development, parenting, safety, legal, or financial decisions. Always verify any factual statement, dosage, schedule, or recommendation with a qualified professional before acting on it.
Heads-up about what AI features see. To answer you, our AI features may receive the profile, goals, tasks, calendar events, photos (including photos of your children), OCR images, voice transcripts, and chat history you've created in Momeaze, and that content may be processed by third-party AI / OCR / cloud providers described in our Privacy Policy. Be thoughtful about what you share — especially about minors and other people who haven't consented — and review the Privacy Policy before enabling AI features.
Applicable AI law. The Texas Responsible AI Governance Act (TRAIGA), Tex. Bus. & Com. Code Ch. 551 (effective January 1, 2026) is the AI-governance statute we follow. TRAIGA is enforced exclusively by the Texas Attorney General and does not provide a private right of action. The detailed AI-related warranties and the TRAIGA prohibited-use list are in Section 7 of the Terms of Service.
HIPAA and Your Information
For a plain-language summary of how HIPAA and PHI relate (or often do not relate) to consumer use of Momeaze, see Section 6 of the Privacy Policy. In short: Momeaze is a consumer family-life and productivity application, not a healthcare provider, insurer, or medical-record system — and information you enter in the consumer app is generally not HIPAA-regulated Protected Health Information (PHI) in our hands.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and children do not have their own Momeaze accounts. Parents or guardians are the account holders and are responsible for any information they choose to enter about their children (family-member profiles, photos, schedules, etc.). At the v1 launch, Momeaze blocks signup under 18 and does not provide separate child or teen accounts; see Section 11 (Children's privacy) of the Privacy Policy for the full children's-privacy treatment.
No Warranty as to Outcomes
Momeaze does not promise any particular health, sleep, mood, relationship, parenting, productivity, or family-life outcome from use of the Services. Individual results vary.
Changes
We may update this disclaimer from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we post a new version. Material changes may also be reflected in the Terms or Privacy Policy.
