Thanksgiving 2026 · Greater Houston area

One less thing on her plate

This Thanksgiving, we're carrying the list together.

Momeaze is putting together Thanksgiving meals for 10 local families, with a little help from moms in our community. We'll take care of the shopping and the details.

Nominations are open through Sunday, Nov 15.

Know a mom who could use a little help?

Tell us about her. And if your own family could use a little help this Thanksgiving, you can ask us yourself. Either way, it stays private: nothing gets posted, and we'll reach out quietly.

This year we can help 10 families. We'll get back to every mom who was nominated or asked by Wednesday, Nov 18. If we can't include your family, we'll share other local places that can help.

No app needed.

Who's this for?

Here's how you can help

Want to help? Pick whatever fits your week.

We know your plate is full too. You don't have to organize a thing... we've got the list.

Add something to your cart

If you're in the Houston area, grab an extra Thanksgiving staple on your usual grocery run and drop it off.

The grocery list and drop-off spot are coming soon.

Leave the shopping to us

Give any amount toward a meal from anywhere, and our team does the shopping and packing.

Coming soon.

Momeaze is a small business, not a nonprofit, so gifts aren't tax-deductible. Momeaze covers the card fees, so every dollar goes to these meals, and anything extra goes to a local food pantry.

Pass it along

Share this page so it reaches a mom who could use help, or one who'd love to give it.

How it works

  1. Nominations are open through Sunday, Nov 15.
  2. By Wednesday, Nov 18, we reach out privately to every mom who was nominated or asked, and confirm the 10 families.
  3. Each family gets a grocery gift card for the turkey and fresh things as soon as they're confirmed, so there's plenty of time to shop and thaw the turkey.
  4. Drop-offs and gifts come in through Friday, Nov 20, and our team shops for whatever's still missing.
  5. Meals go out Nov 23 to 25, each with a handwritten note.
  6. On Nov 30, we share how it went. No names, ever.

Things people ask

Who can be nominated?

Moms and families in the greater Houston area. You can nominate someone else or ask for your own family.

Can I help if I live somewhere else?

Yes. Anyone, anywhere can give toward a meal or share this page. Only grocery drop-offs need to be local.

Is it private?

Yes. Only a couple of people on our team see what you send. We don't post names or stories, and we don't add anyone to our emails. We delete the information after Thanksgiving.

Do I need the Momeaze app?

No. Nobody needs the app to give, nominate or get help.

What's in a meal?

Thanksgiving staples like stuffing, sides, gravy and cranberry sauce, a roasting pan, a grocery gift card sized to the family for the turkey and fresh things, and a handwritten note. We check household size and food needs with each family first.

What can I drop off?

Unopened, unexpired, shelf-stable items from the list. No homemade food, please. Location and hours: coming soon.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

No. Momeaze is a small business, not a nonprofit. Momeaze covers the card fees, so every dollar goes to the meals.

What happens to anything extra?

Anything left over, groceries or money, goes to a local food pantry after Thanksgiving.

What if more than 10 families need help?

We'll get back to every mom who was nominated or asked by Nov 18. If we can't include your family this year, we'll share other local places that can help.
